Clarke Street is a proposed development of seven townhouses. The site is on a prominent corner with the primary frontage to a laneway. From the site there are potential views to the south of the central business district and to the north-east of Ruckers Hill.
Each townhouse comprises a single garage and three bedrooms on the ground and first floors with two levels of living above. All townhouses include generous balconies located to take advantage of the views.
The development utilises solid masonry construction to the lower level with lightweight cladding above. The Clarke Street facades are predominantly brick to be consistent with the surrounding context. The laneway façade is enlivened by a portal frame structure which provides a support for vertical planting, to mitigate the impact of the western sun.
